We're 28 weeks now and in the homestretch! Baby weighs about 2.25 pounds (about a Chinese Cabbage) and is nearly 15 inches long (14.8). Saw the doctor this week and the belly is measuring right at 28 weeks so we're doing good there. Had to get poked a couple times though. Did the glucose screening which involved drinking a really thick orange drink and having blood drawn an hour later. Too bad I wouldn't stop bleeding!!! Never had that happen before. Then had to get a shot for being RH negative. I hate shots, needles, you name it!Also found out some interesting news. I don't know if I'm just more sensitive to it because I'm pregnant now, but it seems like I come across an awful lot of pregnant women lately. I also know a lot of people who are pregnant and due within weeks of me. For instance... I have two pregnant co-workers, I have two cousins due two days and two weeks after me, one of my best friends from high school is due weeks before me... and now I find out my doctor is also pregnant... and due two days AFTER me! Now that ought to be interesting! She's not worried and neither am I so we'll just see how it plays out!
I get to see those pregnant cousins this weekend... am really looking forward to that!
