We're 38 weeks now... less than 2 weeks to go! Something seems to be happening because I've noticed some changes. I'm having problems with my left foot swelling more than the right so the doctor had me get an ultrasound of my leg yesterday to make sure there isn't a blood clot. Everything looked good so I just have to make sure my fat foot doesn't get too bad. They figure the baby shifted and is now sitting on a nerve or something. That could be the case because the pain in my right hip went away at about the same time.
I also had a diabetic reaction on Tuesday. Had just eaten lunch and my blood sugar levels plummeted. My tongue went numb and I got real jittery & weak. Was rather interesting but made me feel like crap the rest of the day. So the doctor ordered me to cut back a little on work... no more 10-hour days. That's why I'm home for a couple hours over my lunch break.
just spend the time on the couch, resting on my left side as ordered. We'll see how it goes!
