1 Week Old!

Alexis is 1 week old today!

Things are going well at home. I can't believe how fast the day goes after you feed, sleep, feed, sleep. Bill has decided to take next week off from work too... which will be helpful since I don't feel like we're getting much done around here. But I guess that's what's supposed to happen.

Her jaundice levels dropped slightly on Friday so we shouldn't have to worry about that any more. Tomorrow we'll find out whether she's returned to her birth weight. She's going through diapers left and right... already emptied a container of wet wipes! But I suppose that will happen when she fills her diaper 2 minutes after I change a wet one!

Pulled out the camera today and took dozens of pictures of her sleeping. I have a feeling I'll get addicted to that! We're just having too much fun with her!

Alexis also got to meet Levi, my friend, Jill's little boy at their baby shower this weekend. He's three weeks older and a total cutie! But of course, she scratched her face just in time for the picture.
