I Hate Cradle Cap!

Alexis has really bad cradle cap. It's looks so icky and I feel like it's out of my control. It started as just a dry scalp with flakes. I thought that was bad... until it started to weep and crusting over.

The doctor says she just has really sensitive skin (she gets that from her father). So we're now on a shampoo rotation using Nizoral, Selson Blue, Head & Shoulders & Baby shampoo.
But we start with a good slather of baby oil and leave it on for an hour. Then when we're washing it off, we use a baby brush to take off the scales/crust as gentle as we can. It dries and over the next day the crust returns, so we do it all over again.

The doctor said not to put any lotions on her head or face but she's been scratching so badly, I decided to start using a thin layer of eucerin on her face. It seems to be working. We also got her some more mittens to keep her from scratching up her skin.

Her hair is now coming out as well, which I'm told is normal, so we just have to wait for this to pass. I can't wait!!!
