For Thanksgiving, we decided to stay in town and have a traveling meal of sorts.  Mom and Dad sold their house and have to move that weekend so their house is all packed up.  But Mom saw it as an opportunity to have the family over to the house for one last get together.  So, the traveling day of eating began at Uncle Brent’s apartment for ThanksBreakfast.

He hosted breakfast a large feast for a couple of his friends, complete with pumpkin pancakes, hashbrowns, sausage, bacon and more.  Everything was NUMMY!

The evening meals took a little longer than expected.  We started at Mom & Dad’s for appetizers while the guys deep fat fried the turkey.  But the burner Brent had borrowed wasn’t working very well, so it took a bit longer than planned.  The guys stayed at the house as we took the kids to our house for the rest of the main courses and waited for the turkey to arrive.  And when it did, it was well worth the wait.  It had great flavor and was very moist!

We were supposed to head over to Chris and Laura’s for desert but to save time, she grabbed it on the way to our place and our traveling meal ended there.
