We went back. Big surprise. To Brookings we will go! We invited Uncle Brent to come along this time… and found if you push the car seats apart in the back seat just enough, Mommy fits snugly between them. The trick is putting one hip in at a time. It was bearable for the 45-minute ride. But the kids were kind of weirded out about having me back there.
Take a look at the fun we had! BTW, Noah thinks he owns the place. And they love the hats Grandma Rose bought them! (Noah’s is a puppy, Alexis’ is a penguin – both wearing Santa hats)
Noah didn’t up very high in the clouds again. But Uncle Brent was able to guide him up farther than he got last time. Alexis, got all the way up to the top!
The museum had a traveling playhouse from Rainbow Play Systems upstairs. It was full of play kitchen items, which the kids LOVED! Okay, take note for Christmas, right?
Yep, that’s my husband. In a kids tunnel. We bet him he couldn’t fit. He proved us wrong. I got the picture. I think I won.
Noah took orders from Uncle Brent… but he was actually more interested in the door and opening it and closing it and latching it until he realized the latch didn’t work. Then his mission was to fix it. Just Like His Daddy!
And Noah had to say “hello” to his friend the dinosaur before we left. Unfortunately, Dino was turned off for the season. Noah was a bit let down when the Dino didn’t say “Hi” back and the small one was put back in his cage. Maybe next time.
Off to Cubby’s for lunch… time to squeeze back into the backseat of the car!
