You should know the drill by now.
We drove to Brookings, went to the Children’s Museum, had a blast and took fun pictures… this time with a fun new camera. We had Cubby’s for lunch and drove home. But this time, it all started at the giant LiteBright board!
Then it was off to the farm and grocery store where Noah picked the vegetables and brought them to market. Then both he and Alexis filled their shopping carts to the brim, and then some, with groceries. You could tell they were really pretending because they bought things like milk and cheese. hehe
There is also a sod hut built next to the tower of clouds that the kids found interest in this time. It had a little table with camping plates, mugs and coffee pot, a large plastic bed and other “sod hut” furniture.
Alexis even brought the teapot into bed! Then it was off to the ice cream parlor – Hey, it’s a logical transition, right? These neat ice cream and cone sets stuck together with magnets, allowing you to stack the ice cream as high as you could get it. Noah was extremely fascinated with the register.
And, you guessed it. We had to say hello to the giant T-Rex before we said goodbye to the Children’s museum. He still didn’t say ‘hi’ back. Can’t wait for the weather to warm up!
