Noah got to take his first trip to the circus this weekend. We were really excited to see the elephants, tigers, bright lights and…
GRANDPA!
He, Cole and Ethan work the concessions for the El Riad Shrine and Grandpa tapes off some good seats for us. It’s good to have connections! Plus, they scope out the good toys for us to help the kids pick out the perfect one to light things up when things go dark!
As a parent, you kind of worry the show is going to be the same year after year, but they did a real good job of mixing things up this year. The tigers were feisty as usual…
Instead of having a handful of elephants, they had one extremely talented elephant. I mean, could you do this? Okay, my yoga’s gotten pretty good so this is a possibility but try weighing thousands of pounds. hehehe.
There were the NOISY light up toys. We grabbed them during a bathroom break and Noah picked out the laser gun which was noisier than it was bright… and doesn’t have an on-off switch, of course. We’ll see how long that lasts. Alexis picked out a pink light saber.
The cool new grand finale was a dirt bike jump across the arena from corner to corner. They had a jump on one end and a trailer that turned into a wide landing strip in the opposite corner. And everything in between was fair game for acrobatics! Pretty awesome!
