Claire’s Baptism

I was very honored to have Chris and Laura ask me to be Claire’s Godmother.  It was so exciting to be part of her special day as she was blessed by the Church.  

They chose Chris’ friend, Mike, to be the Godfather.  Tristan proudly stood close through the ceremony.  What a good big brother.

If I’m counting correctly, Claire is the 12th infant to wear the christening gown my grandmother made for her children.  It was worn by three of her children (not both of the twins could wear it at the same time), six of her grandchildren and now three of her great grandchildren!

With family in town, we held a dual Baptism-Graduation party for both Claire and Carissa – which means double the cake!

And when it was time to go, Super Dzia Dzia decided to put Noah on the vacuum cleaner while Dad was cleaning up.  At first he wasn’t so sure about it.  But when we pulled him off, he climbed right back on.  Oh Boy! So he got a short trip around the room.
