Hot Harley Nights

It’s become a tradition to participate in the Hot Harley Nights fundraiser for the local Make A Wish Foundation.  I love being able to help the organization.

We missed the event last year because we were in Aberdeen buying Bill’s motorcycle.  So this year, we got to ride it in the poker run with Bill’s parents instead of riding his mom’s bike.

We usually then grab the kids and all meet up for dinner at Texas Roadhouse around 4:30 before catching the motorcycle parade on Kiwanis Avenue.  Tom and Rose usually ride in the parade but this year they came to watch the parade with us and the kids.

After the parade, we head downtown and go to our usual spot to sit in the grass, people watch, chat with friends and have a few drinks.  By then, the kids are usually BEAT and ready to go home.  This year was no exception. IMG_8855
