He’s super excited and can hardly contain it
… so excited, he stuck his fingers right in the cake! So I guess he got to taste test it! mmm Frosting! He’s all about Spiderman right now, so we had the cake, a table cloth and in the photo above, you can see one of the many the spider webs that had huge black spiders in them – just for Auntie Peepers! Noah loved teasing her about them.
Chummin’ it up with Busha! We had a full house!
Baby Claire was in a good mood… all smiles! Love that girl!
And we brought out our present to Noah to show everyone. Bill and I handcrafted the Wrigley Field sign for a headboard for his big boy bed… since his room is baseball themed (I didn’t think the Minnesota Twins’ Minnie and Paul sign was going to work quite right. – I’ll pick my battles. hehe) We cut it out by hand, painted it by hand and just had to attach the legs to attach to his frame. Can’t wait! – Oh, the black part, which represents the marquee board, is made with chalkboard paint! He can play with that when he’s older.
He dug right into the presents when it was time to open! And even took the time to check out the cards.
He got spoiled, of course and was great about thanking everyone as we read the cards. Lots of toys, lots of clothes. He figured this box worked best as a stool. Stinker!
Grandma always gets the “other” kid something little to open too. Alexis got some hair clips with colored hair.
And then it was time for CAKE! Noah did a great job blowing out the candles… it took a few breaths, but he got the job done.
Grandpa Art and Grandma Linda were able to travel in from St. Paul. It was so much fun having them there – so we got a great picture with their four great grandkids!
Happy 3rd Birthday Noah!
