We started our Christmas celebrations with the Leeschs just a few days early. Tom and Rose made a great dinner before the kids got to serve as the elves and passed out gifts.
It’s so great that they want to help handing out gifts. It’s a great time for them to learn about giving to others. Their little faces lit up with every gift they got to hand off.
Grandma and Grandpa spoil all the grandkids. Alexis got more baby items and a Cinderella blanket among other girlie things. Noah got pure boy toys including a chainsaw, bike and workbench.
We also got Ethan a fishing pole and it’s pretty safe to buy Cole anything Vikings.
The adults draw names and give a short wish list, usually of things we need, such as clothes. But we also started doing a $10 non-gender specific gift that we play a game to win. This year, I won awesome marshmallow sticks with handles made out of antlers!
It was another great day to spend with family and be thankful for all we have and for everyone special in our lives.
