Christopher had big plans for his yard this summer. A new yard for a start, some landscaping, rocks – Lots Of Rocks!
Chris originally majored in Landscape Design at SDSU before working for the Air National Guard full-time. It’s still in his blood. He had rock and machinery scheduled to arrive to his house the weekend after Henry was born. But he had more pressing matters waiting for him in New York. So it would wait.
We all offered to take care of it that day when they left. He had already cancelled everything.
But when Chris is away, the rest of us are in charge! And his best friend, Mike, was great enough to rearrange everything…
… gather a GRAND collection of strong men with wheel barrels, shovels, and loaders…
… and a foreman, Claire!
Some of the guys started early and got the dirt all leveled out. The summer rain had washed some of it away since the last time Chris worked on it.
And then the heavy lifting began. See… strong men, lots of rocks, wheel barrels.
These two chicks made sure the men stayed on task. You’d take orders from them, right?
And in just a matter of hours, it was done! The house was surrounded in rock!
These are the great guys that get all the credit. Thanks to all 16 men for their great work!
And a special thanks goes out to Marso’s Property Management for generously donating vehicles, equipment, time and expertise.
Claire approved and after things got cleaned up, it was time to play!!!
And cool off in the pool! Kiddie pool, anyone?
