Father David got to bless Henry before he headed to New York for his brain procedure, but because we weren’t in a church, we didn’t get to fully seal him as a Catholic child of God. So we still get to celebrate his Baptism with the rest of the family.
Both sets of great grandparents from Chris’ side of the family came to visit so we opened up our house Saturday night for people to spend time together. It was still hot out so we turned on the sprinklers and let the kids run.
Uncle Mark & Aunt Becky also came to meet Henry. He got to meet LOTS of new family this weekend.
And after the 11 a.m. mass on Sunday, we all gathered for the baptism. Big sister Claire was ready for some fun!
Chris and Laura asked Brent and Carissa to be Henry’s Godparents. The service was very touching.
Love my guys! And Claire loves shoulder rides!
Our whole family! And we had to get the traditional photo of Henry with Busha. I believe he’s now the 13th child in the family to wear the baptismal gown she made.
Then it was party time! Claire is a great help at opening presents, of course! She also got a gift!
But then I caught Tristan playing with it. hehehe
Great Grandma Linda made Henry this quilt. Each of the kids have one. They’re each VERY unique and beautifully made.
Claire had fun in with the gift bags and came up with her own version of the “bucket head.”
We’re all so in love with the latest miracle to join the family. We’re so blessed and thank God for watching over him and giving him the strength to be such a little fighter. God Bless Henry!
